Hello! I’m Melanie and I’d like to welcome you to Pure Health.
This is the place where you will be heard...
a place where your questions about your health and how to take care of yourself will be investigated and answered.
a place where we can collaborate to find the best natural healthcare solution for you.
a place of empowerment.
In 2004, my own health concerns as well as a growing interest in the field of natural medicine led me to leave behind a career in Architecture to study Naturopathy. I feel so grateful for having had that opportunity as it has led me to my own path of healing and to a deeper understanding of what it takes to achieve and maintain good health through natural remedies. It is this experience and understanding that I wish to share with you.
Our information age has led to a lot of confusion about health and disease and what to do about it. Much of my work therefore focuses on holistic health education, which will help you to understand what is going on in your body and what natural interventions are open to you to improve your health.
I look at supporting your whole health rather than just your symptoms. This is important because unless we address the triggers that push you off balance, your chance of enjoying long-term optimal health will be reduced. The health choices we make today are most certainly going to affect our future.
I enjoy working one-to-one as well as giving workshops and talks. My aim is not only to treat, but also to educate and empower.
My passion is herbal medicine and I stock well over 100 herbal tinctures that I can mix to provide remedies tailored to suit your needs. I also enjoy using the Bach flower remedies to facilitate the processing and clearing of emotional issues.
I have a particular interest in digestive health complaints and stress management as this often underlies many other health problems, but since I work holistically I am not limited in terms of who I can work with.
I have personal experience of chronic fatigue and an autoimmune condition that I have brought under control by walking my talk. Life is to be enjoyed. I choose not to be limited by any labels, but rather armed with information I nourish myself in all aspects so that I can live my best life. And this is my wish for you.
So, whether you are looking for a deeper understanding of your health or diagnosed condition or, for support that complements your current health regime, you are in the right place and I look forward to meeting you. Please feel free to contact me.
